Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ Invited to a Symposium Hosted by Asian Cultures Research Institute of Tokyo University, Japan
The Head of Department of History at Nişantaşı University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ attended as a guest at a symposium (The Roots of the Japanese Policy Against The Middle East and Islam- Reconsiderations on 100th Anniversary of Paris Peace Conference (1919)/ International Symposium on 60th Anniversary of Asian Cultures Research Institute) hosted by Asian Cultures Research Institute of Tokyo University, Japan on June 22nd-23rd, 2019. Assoc. Prof. Akçadağ presented her study called “Turkish-Japanese Relations, At the End of the Ottoman Empire Period & At the Beginning of the Republic of Turkey.” Academicians from different Japanese universities who study bilateral relationship between the two countries presented certain results of a research project on commercial activities of Japan in the Mediterranean region.
