Accaptance of the National Anthem and March 12th Event

There are constituent texts in which the codes of the nations exist. This is the importance of our national anthem for our nation. On the occasion of the 98th Anniversary of the acceptance of our National Anthem and the commemoration day of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, on Tuesday, March 12th, our university held an event at Assoc.Dr. Cevdet Uysal Conference Hall. The event started with video and audio performance named ‘’The Story of the Day From John Arthur Cliff’s Diary’’ which was told by an American witness and was prepared by Texture Atelier of Faculty of Art and Design, which tells the days when the National Anthem was accepted,tells the discussions, the spirit of the War of Independence, One of the professors of the University Prof.Dr. Yavuz Demir’s work ”The Story of the Day From John Arthur Cliff’s Diary’’ was directed by Lecturer Güneş Özayten. Our students Uğurcan Akbaş, Cansel Görgü, Musa Tarkan, Ceyhun Aydın, İrem Erikgenoğlu, Adnan Eren, Emre Ertürk, Ibrahim Eren and Furkan Kalaycı have performed the dramatic animation on the screen accompanied by the War of Independence photographs. After the the moment of silence and the reading of the Independence Anthem, Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu gave a short speech on the meaning and importance of the day
