Assistant Professor Dr. Egemen Yılgür at Nişantaşı University awarded the Best Paper Award
Assistant Professor Dr. Egemen Yılgür’s paper titled “Teneke Mahalle in Bomonti-Feriköy: The Waves of Migration from the ’93 War to 1999 Earthquake, Social Encounters and the Dynamics of Transformation”, presented in International Congress of Current Debates in Social Sciences in İstanbul was selected as the Best Paper published in Sociology field by the Science Board of the Congress.
International Congress on Current Debates in Social Sciences – CUSED – was first held in London in 2010 in cooperation with Kocaeli University (Turkey) and Opava Silesian University (Czech Republic) by Westminster University in England. The congress is organized in various cooperation and with current issues each year, and this year a great number of people participated in the congress held in İstanbul with the support of Marmara University.
