12th IRCT Security Academy organized by International Relations Council starts
12th IRCT Security Academy having been organized by International Relations Council of Turkey since 2018 is going to be held in Ferko Ilgaz Mountain Resort Hotel between 20 and 24 December 2017 this year.
Bureaucrats and diplomats, researchers, non-governmental organization representatives, military staff and master and doctorate students who would like to get expertise in security field are among the participants of the event where representatives from different institutions, academicians and experts, who were active in establishment of Turkey’s security policy will attend.
In scope of the event, there will be various presentations and panels, security-themed simulations, and films based on visual education method.
Various international relations and security topics such as Changing Agenda of Global Security, Terrorism and Security, Energy Safety, Turkey’s Security Policy in the Middle East, Terror and Safety will be discussed and agenda concerning Turkey and its proximal geography will be handled as well as the relations between Turkey and NATO.
Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu, the Rector of Nişantaşı University, is going to join the panel titled “Transatlantic Safety and NATO” as a speaker on Friday, December 22 in scope of the program.
NATO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, İstanbul Policy Center (IPC), Centre For Turkish Studies (CTRS) and Nişantaşı University are among primary supporters of IRCT Security Academy.
