The research project entitled “Investigation of Vegan and Sustainable Food Production”, supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Programme, is being conducted by Esra Günbey, a double major student in Social Work and Psychology, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Bengi Bezirgan Tanış from the Department of Sociology, between 22.03.2024 and 22.06.2025.

The project aims to examine vegan food production practices from social, environmental, and ethical perspectives within the framework of sustainability, responsible production and consumption, and social impact. Within the scope of the research, the relationship between sustainable food systems, individual preferences, social awareness, and environmental impacts is examined through an interdisciplinary approach.
