TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR NEW STUDENTS

TO ACCESS TO STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

OUR STUDENTS NEED TO COMPLETE al THE STEPS BELOW IN ORDER.

• By entering our obis.nisantasi.edu.tr website, "Click to generate your first time password" action is to be done,

• Then, fill in the fields whr personal information must be entered from the password creation screen and click on the "Generate My First Password" button.
• 

You have to create your new password by accessing the page with your username and temporary password created by your system. (The window will open as in the example below.)

• Finaly, you need to access the page with your username and temporary password by clicking the "Click to navigate to login page" button.

 

Nişantaşı University - Information Technologies Department gives one e-mail account to al students.

To receive or send e-mails, it is sufficient to use the http://mail.nisantasi.edu.tr mail interface. Users, by typing Student No @ std.nisantasi.edu.tr and OBIS password in the password part.

Example: You can login by typing  20189121520@std.nisantasi.edu.tr >>>> Password: ********* (OBIS PASSWORD) *******.

What are the advantages of student e-mail?

http://mail.nisantasi.edu.tr, is a convenient and flexible method to access your personal e-mail account on the web. You can read your e-mails, send them and create an address book via http://mail.nisantasi.edu.tr.

Users will also be able to easily communicate with the Academic and Administrative staff via this mail.

Our user student will be able to use his E-Mail account synchronously on his mobile phone. (Works on Android, iPhone, iPad, Galaxy etc. Tablet and Symbian operating systems.)

All e-mails sent and received by users will be checked for viruses and spam.

The user will be able to use this account and addresses for 2 months as long as his / her relationship with NÜ continues and after his / her relationship with NÜ (excluding graduates)

Users will also be able to take advantage of al the following Microsoft Office applications.

• Is there a quota?

It is determined as 50 GB for our students.

• What happens when my quota is full?

When your quota is full, users who send e-mails to you will receive an e-mail stating that your quota is full and you cannot receive e-mails.

• Does my e-mail account close when I leave university?

Our students can continue to use their e-mail accounts until 2 months after leaving school.
