OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

The 2^nd Level Orienteering Competition organized by the Turkish Orienteering Federation was held in Alanya on 5-6 March 2022. Nişantaşı University orienteering team won a total of 4 medals and became the pride of Nişantaşı University in the competitions held in Cebelireis and Gedevet Highlands for two days.

In Nişantaşı University Orienteering team, BESYO Recreation Department student Emirhan Camuka has become champion in long distance race; MMF Interior Architecture Department student Bora Ege Sarp has become champion in middle-distance race and come in second in long distance race; BESYO Recreation Department student Orbay Fatih Yıldız has come forth in middle-distance race and third in long distance race; BESYO Recreation Department student Kadir Buğra Budak has come second in middle-distance race and eighth in long distance race;  Our students became the pride of Nişantaşı University by winning a total of 4 medals with 2 gold, 1 silver and bronze medals for each.

In the competitions, Nişantaşı University Orienteering team coach and Turkish Orienteering Federation President of Technical Board Abdullah Özdemir and Turkish Orienteering Federation Deputy President and BESYO Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Başoğlu shared the happiness of their success with our athlete students.
