"During the evaluation of these applications and the final decision phase, there is no personal relationship between the evaluators and the applicants that could affect the objectivity of the evaluators. The decision was made in accordance with the rules of objectivity and transparency.’’

IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. A prioritization process has been applied for staff who receive financial support from AFAD or are first-degree relatives of such person according to the 2024 Erasmus Operational Handbook.
2. Applications without a valid acceptance document for International Mobility have been deemed as invalid.
3. Additional grants for individuals who are receiving Orphan Pensions are applied only to student mobility, as stated in the Erasmus Handbook and directed by the Turkish National Agency.
4. For staff with the same scores, the following additional criteria have been considered as specified in the Erasmus Handbook and confirmed by the National Agency:

 

1. Staff who have not previously participated in mobility are given priority.
2. If both have not participated in mobility before, staff from the unit/department that has participated less or not at al is prioritized.
3. If both are from units/departments with less or no participation, staff who choose an institution in which has not previously carried out mobility are prioritized.
4. If both have chosen institutions with no previous mobility, staff with a higher language score are prioritized.
5. If both have the same language score, the younger staff member is prioritized.

 

5. Placements have been made based on the final scores of the staff and the quotas of the slcted universities. Changes in institutions will not be alowed without a force majeure as university preferences affect the score.
6. Language scores of staff pursuing master's/doctorate degrees or having citizenships of the countries whr the official language is English have been accepted as equivalent to YDS 80.
7. In accordance with the program rules, -15 points were deducted from staff who did not declare the participation status within the specified dates in their previous application and from those who filled out a participation petition without a grant and did not participate in the mobility, or who waived their rights after the specified dates without a force majeure.

 

Staff on the main list must notify the Erasmus office via email (erasmus@nisantasi.edu.tr) by Thursday 29.08.2024 at 13.00 whether they will participate in the mobility or not. Staff who do not declare their participation by the specified date or who withdraw without a force majeure reason after the specified date will have a 15-point deduction from their next application. If a staff member on the main list decides not to participate in the mobility, the next staff member on the reserve list will be granted.

Staff on the reserve list can participate in the mobility without a grant with the approval of the rectorate. Staff who would like to participate in the mobility without grant must submit their participation without a grant petition to the Erasmus office by Thursday 29.08.2024 at 13.00. Participation without grant petition should only be filled out by those who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant. There is no need to fill out participation without a grant petition to wait for grant alocation on the reserve list.

Staff who fill out the participation without a grant petition within the specified period but later do not participate or withdraw without a force majeure will have a 15-point deduction from their next application.

University changes can not be made unless there is a force majeure (e.g., the slcted institution not accepting the staff). Staff who have been placed in an institution they have not previously visited may only change to a different institution which was not visited before as well.

If you think there is any mistake in the application results, you may appeal via email to the Erasmus office by Wednesday 28.08.2024 at 13.00.

Note: The lists included in this announcement may be revised if there are any appeals, and changes may occur. In case of changes, the final list will be re-announced on Thursday 29.08.2024. If there are no changes as a result of the appeals, the current lists will remain valid.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The mobilities to be carried out under this project are limited to the duration of the project numbered 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195958, and the project end date is July 31, 2026. Awarded staff must complete their mobilities by this date.
