2024 Project Year (2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195958) Erasmus Study Mobility results have been announced.

As a result of the grant alocation announced by the Turkish National Agency on 27.06.2024, the total quota given to our university, which was previously determined as 20 in the application announcement, has been updated as 30, and a redistribution has been made with the decision of the commission, taking into account the number of departments and students of the faculties. You can access the current quota distribution from the table below:

 

 

The calculation was made by taking 50% of the Foreign Language Score and 50% of the General Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) of the applicant. You can find the main and reserve list prepared as a result of the criteria specified in the application guide below:

What Students on the Main List Should Do

• Students who are on the Main List are required to sign the participation form and submit it to the Erasmus Office by hand or e-mail until 12.07.2024 at 18:00 pm.

• Those who would like to waive their rights must fill out a Release form by 12.07.2024 at 18:00 pm and submit it to the Erasmus Office.

• Students who do not declare whether they will benefit from mobility or not, until 18:00 pm on 12.07.2024 will be deemed to have waived their rights and -10 points will be deducted from the Erasmus total grade in the next Erasmus Mobility applications.

 

What Students on the Reserve List Should Do

• Students who are on the reserve list are alowed to participate in Erasmus Study Mobility without a grant in case we have enough spots with the partner university. Students who would like to participate in the mobility without a grant must submit their Petition for participation without grant to the Erasmus Office by hand or via e-mail to erasmus@nisantasi.edu.tr  until 12.07.2024 at 18:00 pm.

• In case of a student who waives his/her right, the grant right will be given to the next student on the reserve list.
• In case there is no student in the reserve list of a faculty, the relevant quota from that faculty will be given to the student with the highest score among al applicants.
• In case there is a student who cancels his/her mobility in the main list and there is a student who is currently participating in the mobility abroad, the grant will be given to that student if s/he is the next one on the reserve list.
• Even if the student does not submit a participation petition without the grant, they will still be able to benefit from the mobility with a grant when it is their turn from the reserve list. It is not necessary to fill out a participation petition without the grant to wait for a grant in the reserve list.
• The participation petition without the grant form is for those who would like to participate in the mobility even if they do not receive a grant. If the applicant submits a participation petition without the grant and declines to participate in the mobility without a force majeure, -10 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus application.
• Due to the late announcement of the quota information alocated to universities and the criteria for the new project period, the nomination dates for the fal semester of the 2024-2025 academic year have passed. All students will be nominated for the Spring semester of 2024-2025 academic year. İstanbul Nişantaşı University and the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for this delay or any disruptions that may occur due to this delay.
• If the student who is eligible for mobility  does not have a 30 ECTS course load, the student cannot participate in the study mobility. The student who is eligible for Erasmus Study Mobility CANNOT perform the IMU internship within the scope of this study mobility application. The right to study mobility CANNOT be converted to internship mobility.
• 3rd year students who applied and were found qualified for the mobility program cannot participate in Erasmus mobility if they have to perform an IMU internship in the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year according to their curriculum. In this case, they must inform the Erasmus office via e-mail.
• Our institution cannot be held responsible for situations such as the applications of the candidates who will participate in the mobility are not accepted by the universities they have been placed in, their quotas are full or the application dates have passed. In this case, the student is asked to choose another university from the list of the universities which we have an agreement with (if any). In case we do not have an agreement on the relevant department or no choice is made by the student, the student's application is canceled and the grant right will be given to the next student on the reserve list.
• Students DO NOT have the right to change the universities whr they have been placed, except for the above-mentioned and unforeseen circumstances/reasons. A change of university can only be made with the approval of the Department Erasmus Coordinator in case the course matching is not possible with the current university or the language of instruction at the host institution is not English.
• Students are responsible for checking their e-mails frequently, following al announcements published by the Erasmus Office and being in contact with the Office al the time. Otherwise, the student is responsible for any problems that may occur (for example, not checking his/her e-mail and missing the application date, not reading the announcements, and not being informed about any developments, etc.).

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The mobility to be completed within the scope of this Project, is limited to the duration of the project numbered 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195958 and the project end date is 31.07.2026. Eligible students must have completed their mobility by this date.

 

Orientation Program

 

An Orientation Program will be organized for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. All the students who are on the Main List and those who have filled out the participation without a grant petition must attend the Orientation Meeting. Students who do not attend the program without a force majeure, will be deducted -5 points from their next Erasmus application. The Orientation Program will be held at the beginning of the new academic year. And the exact time and date will be announced at the beginning of the semester.

 

Students who have objections to the application results can send their objection petitions to erasmus@nisantasi.edu.tr via e-mail until 04.07.2024 at 13.00.  Objection petitions after the specified date will not be accepted. Petitions must be signed by the applicants themselves. Petitions will be evaluated and positive or negative feedback will be given to the students.

The Main and Reserve List in this announcement may be updated as a result of objections and some changes may occur in the main and reserve lists. In case of changes, the final list will be announced on 05.07.2024. If there is no change as a result of objections, the current list will remain valid.
