Within the scope of the project numbered 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195958, applications of our staff who would like to benefit from Erasmus Staff Training and Staff Teaching Mobility will be received ONLINE through turnaportal.ua.gov.tr between the dates of 29 July 2024 and 19 August 2024.
ERASMUS KEY ACTION 1: LEARNING MOBILITY OF INDIVIDUALS Student and Staff Mobility in Higher Education with Countries Associated to the Program and Countries Not Associated to the Programme Within the scope of KA-131 Handbook for Higher Education Institutions (2024 Contract Period), a maximum of 20% of the total staff budget will be used for international mobility. In this context:
Applications of our administrative staff who would like to benefit from Erasmus International Staff Training Mobility within the scope of the project numbered 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000195958 will be received ONLINE through turnaportal.ua.gov.tr between the dates of 29 July 2024 and 19 August 2024. Uploading a valid acceptance document to the system when applying for international mobility is mandatory. Applications without an acceptance document will be deemed invalid.

It is mandatory to make 3 slctions from our list of partner universities when applying for Erasmus Staff Teaching and Training Mobility.

Important Note: It is important to read the guide in the link carefully to obtain detailed information about the mobility process before starting your application.
Who Can Apply?
Staff who would like to benefit from staff training mobility must be actualy working at our university on a full or part-time basis. There is no cadre requirement for the staff at our university, staff who have a contract with our university can benefit from the mobility. Staff who is an employee at a different institution but are working at our university on a contract basis, can apply for mobility from the institution whr they actualy work, not from the institution whr they are employed.
Important Note: Academic staff who are responsible for teaching at our university will only be able to apply for Erasmus Staff Teaching Mobility. Our Research Assistant staff, who do not have a teaching obligation, will be able to apply only for Erasmus Training Mobility together with the administrative staff.
How to Apply?
Our staff must apply fort he program by logging in to the application portal (https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/) via the e-devlet platform and slcting the relevant announcement.
The documents required for the application are as follows:
-English foreign language result document (or an equivalent document showing the relevant score)
-If a new inter-institutional agreement has been signed, a copy of the agreement or e-mail confirmation of the agreement
-If it is a relative of a martyr/veteran or veteran staff, a document proving this.
-Acceptance/invitation document (only valid for international mobility)
Application conditions for staff mobility are as follows:
1) Being an academic or administrative staff member of Istanbul Nişantaşı University,
2) A score of at least 30.0 from a foreign language proficiency exam (YDS, YÖKDİL or the English Proficiency Exam organised by the Foreign Languages School of our university) or an exam whose equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM (TOEFL, PTE, etc.) having received a score equivalent to this score. (The language score of staff who have a master degree or doctorate in countries whr the official language is English and who are citizens of a country that official language is English is considered to be equivalent to YDS 80.)
3) A score of at least 70.0 points from the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam (YDS, YÖKDİL) for teaching mobility or an equivalent score from an exam that equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM (TOEFL, PTE, etc.). (The language score of staff who have a master degree or doctorate in countries whr the official language is English and who are citizens of a country that official language is English is considered to be equivalent to YDS 80.)
Note: Staff will be able to choose a country according to their language scores as stated in the guide. Other preferences will be deemed invalid according to the rules.
Evaluation Criteria:

Quotas:
• The total quota alocated for Erasmus training mobility is 5 people for the whole university.
• The total quota alocated for Erasmus teaching mobility is 5 people for the whole university.
• The total quota alocated for International Staff Training Mobility is 2 people for the whole university.
The Foreign Languages School’s quota is limited to 1 staff.
Staff on the reserve list can participate in the mobility without a grant, with the approval of the rectorate.
Additional Grant for Disabled Staff:
Disabled beneficiaries participating in the Erasmus program can be given additional grants to help their special needs in addition to the standard grants they receive (provided that they are documented). Grants and Mobility Periods:

Staff who will carry out mobility for more than one week will be able to receive the grant in a partial way.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The deadline for mobility within the scope of the 2024 Project is 31/07/2026 and eligible staff must complete their mobility by the relevant date.
