2026 Project Year Erasmus Student Study Mobility Applications
 

Applications for the Erasmus Student Study Mobility under project number 2026-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000408437 will be accepted ONLINE via turnaportal.ua.gov.tr between 14 September 2026 and 1 October 2026.

Important Note: Before submitting your application, it is essential to carefully read both the Application Guide and the Turna Portal Application Manual available through the link above.

Attention: Students may only choose universities listed in our Partner Universities List whr an Erasmus agreement exists for their department. Preferences made outside these agreements will be considered invalid.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be a full-time and actively enrolled student at Istanbul Nişantaşı University.
• Have a minimum CGPA of 2.20/4.00 (Associate and Bachelor's degree students).
• Have a minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (Master's and PhD students).
• Preparatory or first-year students without a university transcript must have a minimum high school graduation grade of 75/100.
• Double major/minor students may apply only through one major programme.
• Students who have previously participated in Erasmus mobility must not exceed the 12-month maximum mobility period within the same study cycle.

Who Cannot Apply?

The following students are not eligible to apply:

• Scientific preparation students
• Open and distance education students
• Students with frozen registration
• Students studying at our university through another exchange programme
• Final-year students (for study mobility)
• Students who have not renewed their registration or have already graduated

Quota

A total of 60 students will be slcted under the 2026 Project Year.

Quotas have been alocated by faculty. Any unused quota will be realocated to the highest-ranking students from other faculties based on the overal success ranking.

Students may indicate their preferred mobility period as either: Spring Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year, or Fal Semester of the 2027–2028 Academic Year.

* An Orientation Program will be organized for students who are eligible for Erasmus Mobility. In the orientation program, detailed information about the mobility process will be given. It is obligatory to attend the Erasmus Orientation Program, for al students who are on the Main List. In addition those who are actualy on the reserve list but fill out a non-grant participation petition must attend the meeting. Otherwise -5 points will be deducted from the next Erasmus applications of students who do not take part in the orientation without showing any force majeure. Details about the Orientation Program will be shared with the students later.

Important Information Regarding Mobility Period

Following the evaluation of applications for the 2026 contract period, students who qualify for the 2026–2027 Spring Semester will be nominated to their host institutions only if the nomination deadlines remain open when the slction process is completed.

If the nomination deadline cannot be met, the student will carry out the mobility during the 2027–2028 Fal Semester instead.

Considering the announcement date of the grant results, Istanbul Nişantaşı University and the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for any delays, disruptions, or any resulting financial or non-financial losses that may occur in relation to Spring Semester mobilities.

Students are strongly advised to consider this situation carefully before deciding to apply for and/or participate in the mobility programme.

Erasmus English Proficiency Exam

The date and time of the Erasmus English Proficiency Exam will be announced at a later date.
