30 November-1 December IYS VI (English Proficiency and Placement Test)

Dear Students,

In the 2023-2024 Academic Year Fal Semester, IYS VI (qualification and placement exam) will be held on 19 and 21 February 2024. Students will take the written exam on February 19 and the speaking exam on February 21.

IMPORTANT:

Students who score 40 out of 80 in the written exam on February 19 will be entitled to take the speaking exam on February 21. The speaking exam will be evaluated out of 20 points.

Students studying in the departments of Dentistry (English), English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpretation and Pilotage (English) must get 55 points out of 80 from the written exam to be held on November 30. Students who will study in these four departments must score a total of 75 points out of 100 in order to be exempt. Students who will study in other departments must score a total of 60 points out of 100.
