Dear Students,

In the Fal Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, IYS IV (qualification and placement exam) will be held on October 30 and November 3 2023. Students will take the written exam on October 30 and the speaking exam on November 3.

Students who score 40 out of 80 in the written exam on October 30 will be able to take the speaking exam on November 3. The speaking exam will be evaluated out of 20 points.

Students studying in the departments of Dentistry (English), English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpretation and Pilotage (English) must get 55 points out of 80 from the written exam to be held on October 30. Students who will study in these four departments must score a total of 75 points out of 100 in order to be exempt. Students who will study in other departments must score a total of 60 points out of 100.
