Methods of the Lessons

All courses that start with "C" in the weekly schedules or that are stated to be held in a laboratory/workshop are face-to-face courses at our Maslak 1453 Neotech campus.

In addition, the lessons starting with "C" in the weekly schedules with the statement " … hours of digital lessons will be held asynchronously over the virtual campus" will also be held face-to-face in the classroom. Supplementary “…. hour” digital lessons will be done asynchronously over the virtual campus. These digital lessons will be uploaded to our students' Virtual Campus platform during or before the class week, and students can watch and repeat these lessons as often as they wish. Students are required to participate physicaly in the parts of these courses to be held in the classroom, and they should also follow the “ …. hours of digital lessons” from Virtual Campus. For the attendance of these courses, the attendance lists of the face-to-face class will be taken as the basis.

Courses stated as “the course will be held synchronously on the Virtual Campus” and “ … hours of digital lessons will be held asynchronously on the virtual campus” in the weekly schedules mean the courses that will be held online and simultaneously on Virtual Campus with the instructor on the day and time specified in the weekly schedule, and they are supported by the course supporting materials with additional " … hours" digital lessons of the course. These digital lessons will be uploaded to our students' Virtual Campus platform during or before the class week, and students can watch and repeat these lessons as often as they wish. Since the course is a synchronous course, students who attend the course simultaneously (on the specified day and time) will be taken into account in the attendance of the course. Students who do not follow the synchronous lesson on the specified day and time will be registered as absent that week.

“Synchronous Courses on the Virtual Campus” mean the courses to be held simultaneously with the instructor as online on the Virtual Campus on the day and time specified in the weekly program. Students, if they wish, can watch and repeat these lessons as often as they wish. However, since the course is a synchronous course, attendance will be calculated according to the students who attend the course simultaneously (on the specified day and time). Students who do not follow the synchronous lessons on the specified day and time will be deemed not to have attended the class that week.

“Asynchronous Courses on Virtual Campus” mean the courses that will be uploaded to students' Virtual Campus platform during or before the class week, and students will be able to watch and repeat these classes whenever they wish. Attendance for these courses will be calculated over the time students watch the courses on the Virtual Campus at the end of the semester.
