Dear Students,
Regarding the great earthquake of the century in Kahramanmaraş, which took place on February 6, 2023, in accordance with the decisions announced by the Council of Higher Education on the Education and Training processes in Higher Education Institutions throughout Turkey with the announcement of February 17, 2023;
1. The 2022-2023 Academic Year Spring Semester will start on Monday, March 6, 2023.
2. Face-to-face courses planned for the spring semester will be offered synchronously/asynchronously on the virtual campus within the framework of the weekly course schedule, in line with the decisions of the Council of Higher Education.
3. Transactions related to the spring semester education processes (course sele ctions, academic advisor approvals, etc.) will be carried out on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
4. In line with the decisions of ECHE, the theoretical part of the applied courses will be taught synchronously/asynchronously through our virtual campus. The applied part of these courses will be carried out after April of this year.
5. Our students will continue their hands-on trainings; clinic, internship, on-the-job professional practice (IMU), etc. face-to-face (hospital, clinic, workplace).
6. Our students can meet with our instructors on the virtual campus during the designated meeting hours and/or communicate via their corporate e-mail addresses.
7. Our university will continue to stand by our students, especialy those affected by the earthquake, with its academic and administrative units.
8. In this difficult process, our psychological counseling units will continue to support our students in need, both on social media platforms and on our virtual campus.
9. In line with the decisions of the Council of Higher Education regarding the process and in the light of new developments, announcements regarding our University's Spring Term education activities will be made when necessary.
