The following steps should be followed in order to search Ebsco databases from outside the institution by clicking on the "search in online databases" tab on our homepage http://library.nisantasi.edu.tr/.

1. Login to EBSCO databases at http://search.ebscocom/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=ehost or http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&profile=eds and enter nisantasiuni and erisim2020* in the username, password section respectively.

Important note: This information will only be valid until the beginning of January 2021, then complete the next step to set your own username and password to be able to continue remote access.

2.The username and password specified in the first step can only be used temporarily, but you can access the databases remotely for 365 days with a username and password that you create for yourself. To do this, you need to create a personal My EBSCOhost account. As you can see on the third page of the manual at https://eis1.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#1H000000P2eP/a/1H000000Ul9V/zzZU325iVOXVVFxBTFgHX.5Xv6uR10N8Fl1JQaBRJSo , you can create an account from the "Oturum aç / Sign In" section at the top right of the screen. You can either link your Gmail account or get yourself a username and password.

3.After that, when you want to access remotely, it will be sufficient to use the username and password you created in step 2. You can log in with your personal account information by clicking the link in the first step.
