Question: Which devices can I use to access the exams?

Answer: You can use your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Question: Do I need any extra requirements to access the exams?

Answer: Yes, before starting the exams, you need to check that the device you will use is fully charged and that there is enough quota in the internet package. Also, you should check that the device and internet browser are up to date. Virtual Campus works best on Google Chrome web browser. Clear the browser cache before starting the exams.

Question: I do not have the necessary equipment to access exams. What should I do?

Answer: You can use the computer laboratories of our university in Maslak campus or computer laboratories of any university in your city.

Question: What username and password should I use to enter the Virtual Campus Exam Module?

Answer: The username and password to be used are the same as the one you use to login to the Virtual Campus.

Question: Can I take the exams anytime I want?

Answer: No, you cannot. The exam schedule will be announced in our university's website. You can take the relevant exam on the day and time specified in the exam calendar. If you enter the exam late, you will waste your time and no extra time will be given in this case.

Question: I am abroad. According to what time zone will I take the exams?

Answer: You will enter according to the Turkey local time zone.

Question: How many times do I have the right to take the exams?

Answer: You have the right to take each exam only once.

Question: What types of questions can be asked in exams?

Answer: You may have multiple choice, open-ended, matching and sorting questions.

Question: How can I answer open-ended questions?

Answer: You can type your answer in the text box under the question root. Do not proceed to the other question without writing the full answer. Also, do not use the "Enter" key on the keyboard while typing the answer. The "Enter" key stands for the answer confirmation and takes you to the next question.

Question: Will my wrong answers to the questions affect the score of my correct answers?

Answer: No, they will not.

Question: Will I be able to return to the questions I left blank or answered questions?

Answer: No, you will not be able to return to the questions as stated in the YÖK (Higher Education Council) test security recommendations.

Question: I have more than one exam on the same day and hour (exam overlap) , what should I do?

Answer: Students who have more than one exam on the same day and hour (exam overlap) have to send an e-mail to their Academic Unit latest two days before the exams from their own student e-mail account. When sending an e-mail; it is necessary to apply by specifying "Course Codes", "Course Names", "Course Instructors", "Problem and Evidence of it", "Student Number", "Name and Surname", "Faculty / Vocational School" and "Department "information.

Question: If I have a device freezing / power outage / internet failure problem during the exam, what should I do?

Answer: You can continue the exam from a different device during the exam period. For example, if your computer turns off due to a power outage, you can continue the exam from your smartphone.

Question: What should I do if I have a different technical problem during the exam?

Answer: You should take a picture or video of the problem and immediately send it to the e-mail addresses of the academic unit. Please read the new announcement on the website of our university regarding this subject.

Question: I answered al the questions. What should I do?

Answer: Click on the "Finish Exam" button. Please do not click on this button without answering al the questions. Otherwise, your exam will end, and you will not be able to login again.

Question: Where can I learn my exam result?

Answer: You can learn the grade through OBIS on the date of announcement specified in the academic calendar.
