(1) Students are responsible for keeping track of the date, time and place of the exams after the exam schedule is announced.
(2) Students should be in the exam room 10 minutes before the exam starts, and if it is announced in advance, they should sit according to the classroom seating arrangement, if not, they should sit according to the direction of the examiners, and should act in accordance with the changes that the examiners will make in the seating arrangement when necessary.
(2) Students should keep their Nişantaşı University student ID documents with them, put them on the desk they sit before the exam starts, and keep their ID documents in a place whr the examiner can see them during the exam.
(3) In addition to their student ID documents, students can bring exam materials such as pencils, erasers, and tools, materials and resources that are alowed to be used in the exam by the examiner/instructor of the course.
(4) Each student has to use his/her own materials in the exam. It is forbidden to share calculators, pencils, erasers, or the tools, materials and resources that are alowed to be used during the exam.
(5) Calculators with an alphabetic keypad, data saving and/or programming feature cannot be used in exams whr the use of calculators is alowed.
(6) If any items (mobile phone, smart watch, lecture notes and books, etc.) are brought to the exam room, other than those specified in article 3, students must leave these items at a point deemed appropriate by the examiner.
(7) Students can bring water and candy to the exam room, provided that they are consumed in a way that does not disturb other students and no garbage is left. However, it is forbidden to have any kind of food and drink in the exams held in computer laboratories.
(8) The student taking the exam is responsible for the exam-related writings on the desk, wal and the documents under/around the desk. Before starting the exam and/or during the exam, when the place is changed by the officer, he/she should check the place whr he/she is sitting and his/her surroundings and inform the examiners if there is such a situation.
(9) Students must keep their mobile phones switched off during the exam. Even keeping phones in silent mode is prohibited. A mobile phone cannot be used to check the time, as a dictionary or as a calculator.
(10) The exam is deemed to have started from the moment it is announced oraly by the examiner and the exam question and answer sheets begin to be distributed. From this moment on, it is forbidden for students to talk among themselves and to ask questions about the answers to the questions during the exam.
(11) The student who takes the question paper should first check whether there are any missing letters/words/sentences or printing errors in the questions. If there is a problem, the student should contact the examiner to have the exam paper changed.
(12) At the beginning of the exam, the student has to write his/her name, surname and number on the exam paper and each of the answer papers used, and sign in the area specified on the exam paper. In addition, under the supervision of the supervisor, he should sign the exam student attendance list with a balpoint pen.
(13) Students who come to the exam room within the first 15 minutes following the start of the exam are alowed to take the exam. These students are not given additional time.
(14) No student can leave the exam room in less than 15 minutes, before the roll cal is completed and without the permission of the examiner. Each student can only leave the room at the time determined by the instructor of the course.
(15) For the students who want to leave the exam room for a short time due to compulsory reasons (health problems, etc.) and return to the room again, if there are two examiners in the room, one of the officials will accompany them outside. If there is one examiner in the room, the situation is reported to the relevant exam coordinator via message. In such cases, the exam coordinator directs a substitute examiner to the relevant room. If the health problem is resolved, the student will be taken back to the exam room. These students are not given additional time for the exam.
(15) Students who have left the exam room are not alowed to gather and talk about the exam questions in front of the exam room.
(16) A student who leaves the exam room after handing over the exam paper cannot re-enter the room before the end of the exam.
(17) After the exam ends, answer sheets must be delivered to the examiners. If a student does not hand in his/her answer sheet, the examiner keeps an official record of this in the exam report.
(18) Students should make sure that their identity information and signature are included on their exam paper when handing in their exam papers.
(19) Exam questions or given answers cannot be written on a piece of paper and removed from the exam room. Such actions are considered as cheating attempts.
(20) In cases whr there is a writing related to the exam subjects on personal properties (pencil case, etc.), the said goods may be confiscated. If the student resists this, evidence cannot be collected by force. In the event that this situation is encountered, it should be stated in the report that the evidence could not be collected. Therefore, students who cheat, attempt to cheat or cheat during the exam are recorded and a disciplinary investigation is initiated against them.
(21) Students are obliged to comply with al instructions and warnings of the examiner. This situation of students who do not comply with the given instructions is recorded in a report, which will also be the basis for the disciplinary investigation.
(22) The student discipline article of Nişantaşı University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations are applied for the student for whom an official record is kept regarding al the events mentioned or not mentioned above.
