ANNOUNCEMENTS

1 ) Students are obliged to know in which dates, hours, and classrooms that the exams will take place after the exam schedule is announced.

2)Students should appear in the examroom 10 minutes before the exam has started. If the sitting plan is announced they should sit in accordance to it, if it is not announced they should sit with a distant order and with the guidance of invigilator and should conform to the changes that invigilator will do in the sitting plan.

2) Students should have their student identity of Nisantasi University with them and they should put it on the desk they sit in, and keep it in a place that invigilator can see.

3) In addition to their student identity, students can bring equipment such as pencil, eraser and other tools that invigilator/instructor lets students use in the exam.

4) Every student is obliged to use the materials of their own in the exam. It is forbidden to share calculator, pencil, eraser or other tools, materials and sources which are permitted to use, with other students.

5) In the exams which are permitted to use calculator, it is not alowed to use calculators with an alphabetical keyboard or that have the quality of recording/programming data.

6) In a situation of bringing any other object except the objects that are alowed in the 3. entry ( cell phone, smart watch, notes of lesson or books), students should put these objects in a place that invigilator finds proper.

7)Students can bring water and sugar to the exam with the condition of consuming them without bothering other students and not leaving any refuse. However, it is forbidden to bring any food or drink in the exams that take place in the computer laboratories.

8) Students who are taking the exam are responsible for the texts about the exam that exist on the surfaces like the wal or the desk, and the documents that are placed under the desk or around the desk during the exam.

9) Students must keep their cell phones off during the exam. Keeping their cellphone in a mute is also forbidden. It is NOT alowed to use the cell phone to check the time, or to use it as a dictionary or as a calculator.

10) The exam begins at the time when invigilator verbaly announces that it begins and the exam paper and the answer sheets are started to hand out. From that moment on, it is forbidden for students to talk with other students or to ask about the answers of questions to invigilator.

11) Students who take the exam paper first should check if there are any missing questions or problems about printing. If there is any problem, students should talk with invigilator to change the paper.

12)In the beginning of the exam students are obliged to write their name and surname on the exam paper and each paper they use to answer the questions and to sign the space provided on the exam paper. Also, with the observation of invigilator they should sign the list of student attendance with a pen.

13) Students who come to the exam room in the fifteen minutes after the exam has started are alowed to enter the exam. Additional time won’t be given to those students.

14) None of the students can exit the exam room without the check of attendance is accomplished or having permission from invigilator if it is not before 15 minutes. Every student can exit the exam room at the time set by the course lecturer.

15) Students who want to leave the exam room for a short time due to obligatory reasons such as health problems and to return the exam room back are accompanied by one invigilator if there are two invigilators in the exam room. If there is one invigilator in the exam room, the situation will be reported to the related coordination of the exam via message. The coordinator of the exam directs an invigilator to the exam room in such situations. When the problem of health is ended student can return back to the exam. Additional time for the exam won’t be given to those students.

 15) Students who leave the exam room are forbidden to gather around in front of the exam room and comment about the questions of the exam.

16)Students who submit the exam paper and leave the exam room is not alowed to enter the exam room before the exam is finished.

17) At the end of exam time the answer sheets should be submitted to invigilator. When a student did not submit the paper, it will be noted in the exam report.

18) Students should make sure that their identity information and signature exist in their own papers when they are submitting their exam papers.

19) The exam questions or the answers that are given can not be written on a paper and taken outside of the exam room. Such actions that are done for his purpose are regarded as attempts to cheat.

20) When there are notes about the lesson on the personal property such as a pencil box, the relevant object can be confiscated. When the student confronts this situation the evidence cannot be gathered by using force. In that situation it is necessary to state in the exam report that the evidence isn't gathered. Thus, by giving reports about them disciplinary  investigation is launched for the students who cheat or attempt to cheat or help other students to cheat,

21) Students are obliged to apply al the warnings and instructions of invigilator.The situation of students who don’t apply to instructions is detected by the report which will be the basis of the disciplinary investigation.

 22) The entries about the student discipline of the Nisantasi University Associate and Bachelor Degree Training and Exam Regulation are applied for the students who are reported about the incidents that are mentioned above, or the other incidents that are not given here.
