The “19 May Youth Festival: United Through Sport with LÖSEV!” event, jointly organised by the Sports Management Programme and the LÖSEV Istanbul European Side Fayda Team, was held with great enthusiasm during the week of the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. With the participation of LÖSEV volunteers and students from the Sports Management Programme, the event aimed to emphasise the unifying power of sport and the importance of social solidarity.

Coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Faruk Salih Şeker, the event offered participants the opportunity to compete in various sporting activities, including volleybal, table tennis and sack throwing. The tournaments were followed with great excitement by both men’s and women’s teams, strengthening the spirit of friendship and competition among the participants.

The event demonstrated that sport is not only a physical activity but also plays an important role in supporting social responsibility projects and raising public awareness. While enjoying themselves during this meaningful event, the participants also experienced the satisfaction of contributing to LÖSEV’s mission.
