The opening ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year at Istanbul Nişantaşı University took place on October 23, 2023, at Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevdet Uysal Conference Hal.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by an opening speech from Rector Prof. Dr. İlhami Çolak.

The ceremony proceeded with giving certificates and pine saplings to the initial 100 students who achieved the highest score for the 2023-2024 academic year upon entering our university, handing out gifts to the Istanbul Nişantaşı University academicians who were representing us in the media, presenting professorship certificates to our promoted university academicians, and delivering accomplishment awards to our faculty members who published five or more articles under the Istanbul Nişantaşı University affiliation in the Web of Science Database.

The event concluded with a speech by Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Directors at TUSAŞ, discussing "The Turkish Aerospace Industry's Advancements/ Perspective of TUSAŞ."
