 "The Current State of Our Cultural Heritage Turkish Coffee and Tradition" 20th Anniversary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and 10th Anniversary Meeting of the Entry of Turkish Coffee and Tradition into the Representative List was hosted by Istanbul Nişantaşı University.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, this year 2023 drew attention to the diversity and richness of the intangible cultural heritage of the 2003 Convention, and also the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of Turkish coffee in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List on 5th December, 2013 and the celebration of this date as "World Turkish Coffee Day" was celebrated.

The program combining the two anniversaries coordinated by Head of the Department of History Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ, was held  with participation of Author Beşir Ayvazoğlu’s speech on Turkish coffee, Anatolian Food Expert Sahrap Soysal, Speeches by Chairman of the Board of Arzum Murat Kolbaşı, Turkish Coffee Lady Foundation and with presentations of workshop ,“Pictures of Atatürk with Turkish Coffee in the Centenary of the Republic”, “Short screening of Anatolia's Turkish Coffee Stories Documentary”, UNESCO Turkish National Commission Specialized Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage.
