The event titled “EEG Applications and Patient Communication in the Electroneurophysiology Laboratory: A Clinical Simulation Practice,” organised within the scope of the Electroneurophysiology Programme, was successfully completed.

Electroneurophysiology Technician Kardelen Aydoğan attended the event as a guest and shared her field experience regarding the EEG application process with the students.

The practical session covered topics such as welcoming the patient, the information and consent process, electrode placement, the stages of EEG recording, activation methods, patient safety and the first-aid approach in the event of a seizure.

Clinical communication, the reporting process and the professional responsibilities of an EEG technician were also explained through practical examples, enabling students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through clinical applications.
