EVENTS

The Module 4 session of our FLD Talks event, which has been followed with great interest by the students of the Department of Foreign Languages, was held in the Assoc. Prof. Cevdet Uysal Conference Hal. In addition to individual presentations, the event also featured joint presentations delivered by two speakers. Our students voluntarily took part in the event and delivered a total of seven presentations on topics of their choice, offering the audience new perspectives and insights.

The event was further enriched by a musical performance from a band formed by our students, creating a more enjoyable and engaging atmosphere for FLD Talks. We would like to thank al of our instructors who contributed to the preparation and delivery of this meaningful event, which extends preparatory education beyond the classroom, and who supported our student speakers throughout the process.

Most importantly, however, our greatest appreciation goes to our students. Throughout the academic year, they actively participated in our extracurricular activities to improve their English language skills and demonstrated the confidence to express themselves in English before a large audience.

Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the students, who participated, by Prof. Uğur Yozgat, Vice Rector of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, and Assoc. Prof. İhsan İkizer, Head of the Foreign Languages Department.

We will continue to organize events that not only complement classroom instruction but also encourage our students to make English a natural part of their daily lives.
