Innovative Teaching Methods: Flipped Learning and Differentiated Instruction

On the third day of our professional growth week, Wednesday, February 19th, we had two dynamic training sessions focused on Flipped Learning and Differentiated Instruction. These workshops introduced us to innovative methods for fostering student engagement and accommodating diverse learning needs.

The first session, Flipped Learning, emphasized shifting the traditional classroom model by encouraging students to engage with new material outside of class. This approach alows for more interactive discussions and hands-on activities during lesson time. By incorporating this method, we can optimize classroom engagement and make learning more meaningful and participatory.

Later in the day, we explored Differentiated Instruction, a crucial approach to meeting the varied learning styles within our classrooms. We learned strategies to adapt our teaching methods, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to succeed. This session empowered us to create more inclusive and effective lessons, alowing each learner to reach their full potential.
