Strong Women on the Road project supported by Istanbul Nişantaşı University Scientific Research Center and carried out by Dr. Nazlı Kazanoğlu, head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration was held as the closing event. Strong Women on the Road Project started in February 2023 and contributed to the capacity development of 50 disadvantaged women's cooperatives active in production in Istanbul and surrounding villages through training series and mentoring programs. The opening speech of the conference, which was the end-of-project event, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ayça Ergun Özbolat, a faculty member of METU Department of Sociology, and 42 academics from many different regions of the country, including Şırnak, Gaziantep, Çankırı and Eskişehir, attended the conference.
