Songül ÖZKAN and Nurdan YILDIZ, students of the Medical Imaging Techniques Programme at Istanbul Nişantaşı University Vocational School of Health Services, carried out the “Radiation Awareness in Children” project as part of community engagement and social responsibility activities.

As part of the project, informative brochures were prepared for children and families, along with an awareness booklet titled “Common Misconceptions About Radiation.” The booklet can also be easily accessed digitaly through a QR code.

The prepared materials aimed to correct misinformation about radiation in society, raise awareness of the safe use of radiation and improve health literacy.

We congratulate our students for their sensitivity and their work contributing to society.
