On Day 3 of Professional Growth Week, the focus was on health, safety, and well-being. Hakan Atasever from the University Work Health and Safety Office provided training on labour law, staff rights, and emergency preparedness, including fire, earthquake, and evacuation protocols.

Following this, the university’s medical doctor Emre Demirkıran delivered a session on First Aid, guiding teachers through proper responses to medical emergencies involving students or colleagues. This practical training enhanced staff confidence in handling unexpected situations safely.
