As part of an in-class activity organised by the Opticianry Programme, we were delighted to host Burcu Nida ÖZDEMİR, an optical news editor recognised for her valuable work in the field. We held a comprehensive and insightful discussion with her on the optical sector, professional ethics, publishing processes and current developments in the industry.

Ms Özdemir’s sharing of her knowledge and experience with our students made a highly valuable contribution to integrating theoretical knowledge with field experience. The interactive session, in which our students actively participated, significantly supported the development of their professional awareness and broadened their career perspectives.

As part of the programme, a smal prize draw was also held to increase our students’ motivation and strengthen their engagement with the learning process. This activity enhanced the dynamic structure of the course and created a positive environment for interaction among the participants.

We would like to thank Ms Burcu Nida ÖZDEMİR for her valuable contributions. Recognising the importance of such academic and sectoral meetings for the development of our students, we hope to continue organising similar events.
