he Prep School recently held its Teachers' Orientation Meeting on October 11, 2024, marking the beginning of an exciting new semester. The meeting served as an important platform to bring together both new and returning teachers, share key updates, and introduce innovative professional development programs aimed at enhancing teaching quality.
The event began with a warm welcome by the Co-Heads of Department, who shared the Prep School’s vision and goals for the semester. Teachers were then introduced to the Teachers' Handbook, with a detailed overview of essential rules and regulations provided by the Level Coordination Unit.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the introduction of the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programs, presented by the CPD Unit. These programs, including the Reflective Peer Exchange, Learning Together Sessions, and Insight Hour, are designed to support teachers in their professional growth and encourage collaboration within the teaching community.
The meeting concluded with a Connection Buffet, a friendly gathering whr each teacher brought a dish to share, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.
This orientation provided a great start to the semester, ensuring that al faculty members are aligned with the Prep School’s mission to deliver high-quality education while supporting each other’s professional development.
