Speeches on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic II – 10th November Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony on 85th Anniversary of His Departure, coordinated by head of the Department of History Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ, organized with participation of guest academician Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya Türkmen. Türkmen, gave a lecture about “A Military genius: Mareschal Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Dr. Lecturer Zekeriya Türkmen worked for History Grup Presidenc of Kuleli Military High School, General Staff Directorate of Military History and Strategic Studies, Ataturk Research and Education Center Gensek, Turkish Military Academy, Hacettepe University Institute of Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, War Colleges Command, Institute for Strategic Studies and manager and lecturer at various university.

Within the scope of the Atatürk commemoration ceremony, the artist Zekiye Yılmaz opened the "Tribute to the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Exhibition" in the foyer area.  Painter Zekiye Yılmaz has been working in her own studio (atelier MixArt) since 2005. Her exhibitions about the Çanakkale Epic, the War of Independence and Atatürk have taken place in many organizations, municipalities and exhibition hals. In 2013, she opened her Çanakkale and War of Independence themed exhibition at the Harbiye Military Museum and donated her paintings to the Museum.
