Foreign Languages Department successfully conducted its final standardization workshop of the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, June 29, prior to the Module 4 Final Speaking Exam. As part of our regular pre-examination quality assurance practices, our instructors came together under the coordination of the Level Leaders to review and strengthen consistency and objectivity in the assessment of speaking exams.

The workshop was conducted in separate sessions for different levels. During these sessions, participants discussed possible scenarios that might arise during the speaking exams and reviewed appropriate assessment practices in line with the established evaluation criteria. Sample student performances were listened to and assessed collaboratively using the speaking assessment rubric, alowing instructors to calibrate their scoring and further enhance inter-rater reliability.

Through these regularly held standardization workshops, we aim to ensure that al students' performances are assessed fairly, reliably, and consistently in accordance with shared academic standards.
