The Professional Growth Week, planned and operated by the CPD Unit, began with exciting sessions on AI in ELT.

In the first session, Amir Hamidi (UES) delivered training on the role of AI in ELT and how technology can be integrated effectively into teaching practices. Teachers were encouraged to reflect on their digital competence and explore opportunities for classroom innovation.

The following sessions were led by Sena Akyol (UES), who introduced eight different AI tools and demonstrated their practical applications in lesson planning, material development, assessment, and classroom interaction. Teachers actively engaged in hands-on activities, experimenting with these tools and discussing their potential impact on teaching and learning.
