On Monday, February 2, with the contributions of our CPD and Testing & Assessment units, the End-of-Module 2 Instructor Training was held under the title “Standardization in the Assessment of Writing and Speaking Exams”.

With the participation of al our instructors, the training was organized in two sessions prior to the final exams. During the sessions, level-based assessment criteria were discussed. Sample analyses were conducted using student responses from previous exams, and evaluations focused on ensuring fair and consistent scoring practices.

In addition, our instructors were informed about key factors to ensure an equal and consistent approach to al students during speaking exams, including the examiner’s body language and attitude, as well as the waiting time given to students to respond.
