The 9th International Health Law Conference was held on February 25-27, 2025, in collaboration between Istanbul Nişantaşı University and Tehran Smart Medical Sciences University. This event, organized for the first time as a joint effort between the two universities, aimed to address current developments in health law and strengthen international academic collaborations.

The conference attracted significant interest from academics, industry representatives, policymakers, and decision-makers from both Turkey and abroad. One of the keynote speakers, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadime Çınar, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, delivered a speech titled "Bioethical, Sociological, and Legal Evaluation of Genome Editing." In her presentation, she examined the ethical, legal, and societal dimensions of genome editing.

Dr. Lecturer Ali Paşazade discussed developments in health law. His presentation also introduced Istanbul Nişantaşı University's academic vision, potential, and future strategies, capturing the attention of the participants.

The conference provided a valuable platform for academic and sectoral discussions on contemporary issues in health law. It is expected that the event will further enhance international collaborations and contribute to more extensive projects in the coming years.
