Following the opening speeches of BESYO Director Lecturer Sertaç Tülek and the event coordinator, Head of the Sports Management Department Dr. F. Salih Şeker, participation certificates titled “A Good Deed for Our Future – 2” were presented to our students by Vice Director of BESYO Lecturer Savaş Çakmakcı, Head of the Recreation Department Osman Şengül, and Research Assistant Fatih Yılmaz.

Within the scope of the Event Management in Sports course, Sports Management students completed the semester under the theme “A Good Deed for Our Future.” The course included various social responsibility projects such as Introducing Rugby, Welcoming the New Year with Children, No One Is Alone, Special Events with Special Children, Let Our Friends Not Feel Cold, Our Forests Are Our Future, Plant a Sapling for Our Future, and LÖSEV: Move for Goodness.

In addition, bals were sent to 30 disadvantaged schools through the Let’s Play Together project. Final presentations were held for the Beyond the Wals Concrete Wals and Cotton Hearts Projects, which were accepted into the Ministry of Youth and Sports Volunteer Support Program and aimed to support the cognitive and physical development of children aged 0–6 living in Bakırköy Closed Women’s Prison.
