The Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of our university has launched a meaningful project with the participation of 100 children with special needs who were affected by the earthquake. The artworks created by these students—through painting and printing designs on t-shirts—have been showcased at Istanbul Nişantaşı University's NeoTech Campus. The project aims to enhance the children’s artistic expression and immortalize their creations.

At the screening of the documentary "100 Children, 100 Creations, 1 Documentary", the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, Prof. Dr. Berrin Kalsın, highlighted the themes of solidarity and hope embodied by the project. She expressed her gratitude, saying, "I extend my deepest thanks to al stakeholders who supported this meaningful project, our students who contributed, and everyone who shares HIS Turkey’s vision for accessible tourism."

The project journey began in Ankara with visits and meetings with children with special needs. These interactions laid the groundwork for the planned activities. The team then traveled to Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya, and Adıyaman, reaching over 100 children with special needs. During these visits, workshops were held whr the children participated in painting activities. The resulting meaningful artworks were first exhibited at the NeoTech Campus in Istanbul.

One of the notable guests of the event was Ufuk Koçak, the world-record-holding freediver. Koçak shared his story of resilience after enduring chalenging days under earthquake rubble and emphasized that courage is about "doing something despite fears." His statement, "Life belongs to those who know how to live it courageously," inspired the audience.

The entire project, including events and interviews conducted in Ankara, Bursa, and the earthquake-affected regions, was documented by students from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department. This documentary, featuring interviews and footage from the activities, was presented to the attendees at NeoTech Campus.

The final segment of the "100 Children, 100 Creations, 1 Documentary" event was dedicated to the children who were at the heart of this initiative. The children waved as they came on stage, sharing their dreams with the audience, touching everyone with their sincerity and warmth.

This meaningful project aims to support the creativity of children with special needs and bring attention to the stories of earthquake-affected children. The exhibition continues at Istanbul Nişantaşı University's NeoTech Campus.
