On March 21, 2025, Istanbul Nişantaşı University, in collaboration with Turkedu – Training and Education Center in Turkey, organized an important training program for academics from various secondary schools, high schools, and universities across Azerbaijan.

The program began with an opening speech by Dr. Ahmet Süngeriçlioğlu, Secretary General of Istanbul Nişantaşı University. In his speech, Dr. Süngeriçlioğlu highlighted the university's recent progress, its vision for internationalization, and the educational opportunities and global collaborations available to students.

The training titled “The Digital Transformation of Teaching: 21st Century Teaching with Artificial Intelligence” was delivered by Dr. Polathan Küsbeci from Istanbul Nişantaşı University. The session focused on the impact of modern educational technologies on the teaching profession and explored AI-supported instructional methods. Participants were introduced to innovative approaches that aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching processes in line with the requirements of the digital age.

The program covered a wide range of topics, including AI-based teaching strategies, the integration of digital tools into educational practices, and the essential skills that 21st-century educators need to develop. The training, enriched with practical examples, was met with great interest by the participating academics.

This joint initiative by Istanbul Nişantaşı University and Turkedu not only contributed to the digital transformation of educators but also played a significant role in strengthening academic cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
