The closing meeting of the Atlas Project, conducted by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with EU support, was held in Ankara. The meeting addressed topics such as transport diplomacy, sustainability, and green growth at an academic level. Additionaly, the focus was on Turkey's strategic position and resolving bottlenecks encountered in international transportation. Finaly, the implementation of the legislation information system caled ELIT, based on the principles of sustainability and digitalization, was emphasized.

Representing Istanbul Nişantaşı University, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Dr. Lecturer Seda Gürel, attended the meeting.

The Atlas Project is of great importance as it comprehensively addresses transport legislation during Turkey’s EU acquis harmonization process.
