The “Logistics Strategies Shaping the Future Summit” brought together key figures and stakeholders from the logistics sector to shed light on the future of the industry. Held in two sessions, the summit explored the core drivers of transformation in logistics—technology, artificial intelligence, and women’s leadership—through a variety of perspectives.
In the first session, representatives from the Women’s Working Group of the International Transporters’ Association (UND) shared valuable insights on the evolving role of women in the logistics industry. Gizem Gündüz Bora (Vice Chair of UND Women’s Working Group), Dr. Sabire Yazıcı (Coordinator of University Collaborations), and members Berrak Özkan and Dr. Gülşahiden Durucan addressed key topics such as the integration of youth into the sector, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities, strengthening industry-academia partnerships, and increasing female representation in logistics.
The second session featured a keynote by Berna Yılmaz Ciğeroğlu, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Turkey, titled “Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Logistics Sector.” Ciğeroğlu provided in-depth insights into how digitalization is reshaping logistics operations, shared examples of AI-powered process management, and emphasized the strategic importance of technology in maintaining a competitive edge.
The summit offered participants a unique opportunity to follow current trends in logistics, explore innovative business models, and gain inspiration from impactful leadership stories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to al speakers and attendees for their contributions.
