The training titled "Current Practices and Developments in Pathology and Other Medical Laboratories" was successfully held at Istanbul Nişantaşı University's NeoTech Campus. The event featured Pathology Laboratory Coordinator Birgül Tulça and Pathology Laboratory Technician Müslim Bahlol as key speakers. The training focused on professional responsibilities, current practices, and advancements in the pathology field.

Birgül Tulça emphasized the critical role of pathology technicians, highlighting the importance of teamwork and ethical values in the profession. She drew attention to the essential role of macroscopic examinations in pathology laboratories and shared examples with students on the evaluation of surgical specimens and the analysis of various tumor types. Tulça also noted that the field expertise and meticulous work of pathology technicians play a fundamental role in enabling doctors to make accurate diagnoses.

Müslim Bahlol, a graduate of the university and a Pathology Laboratory Technician, stressed the importance of gaining experience in the sector and lifelong learning. Sharing examples from his own professional journey, Bahlol encouraged students to focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge for their development. During the hands-on segment of the training, Bahlol worked with students on sample case analyses in the laboratory.
