The “Congress on the Healthy Use of Artificial Intelligence for Academics” brought together academics, experts, and industry representatives at the NeoTech Campus Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevdet Uysal Conference Hal on May 16, 2026.

The opening speeches of the congress were delivered by Intern Dr. Ömer Faruk Yıldız, President of the Medical Students' Association of Istanbul Nisantasi University Faculty of Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alişan Burak Yaşar, Chair of the Congress Organizing Committee, and Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, Rector of Istanbul Nisantasi University. The opening seminar was given by Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak from Kütahya Dumlupınar University with the title “Artificial Intelligence in Social Sciences”.

Throughout the program, the impacts of artificial intelligence on academic production, ethics, education, health, music, and social transformation were discussed with the participation of experts from different disciplines. In the panels titled “Future Foresights in Artificial Intelligence”, “Academic Transformation and Applications”, “Artificial Intelligence in Music and Language”, and “Ethics, Literacy, and Social Applications in Artificial Intelligence”; the effects of artificial intelligence on human life, academic writing processes, data security, ethical responsibilities, and digital transformation processes were comprehensively evaluated.

At the congress, it was also emphasized that artificial intelligence is not merely a field of technological development; it is a multidimensional transformation process that must be addressed from the perspective of humanity, ethics, and academic responsibility. Participants drew attention to the importance of a human-centered artificial intelligence approach in the universities of the future.
