A cooperation protocol aimed at integrating the academic expertise of Istanbul Nişantaşı University with the aviation sector, contributing to the development of students and staff, and developing joint projects was signed between Istanbul Nişantaşı University and Asya ASC Aviation. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Uğur Yozgat, Vice-Rector of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, and Cihat Kuş, General Manager of Asya ASC Aviation.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, the parties aim to establish sustainable cooperation in education, research and development, internship and employment opportunities, social responsibility projects, and academic-industry activities related to the aviation sector. Accordingly, the protocol seeks to bring together the university’s academic expertise with the dynamics of the aviation sector, develop joint projects, and increase activities that support sectoral innovation.

Under the agreement, the parties will be able to jointly organise events such as seminars, workshops, conferences, technical visits and sector meetings, as well as conduct collaborative studies in academic consultancy, field research, project development and data sharing. In addition, students of Istanbul Nişantaşı University will be offered internship and practical training opportunities at Asya ASC Aviation. Training programmes, certificate programmes and postgraduate education opportunities designed to support the professional development of company employees will also be implemented.

This cooperation is expected to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience between the university and the aviation sector, enable students to gain sectoral experience, and contribute to the development of initiatives focused on social benefit.
