The project led by Dr. Seher Özsert, a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, titled "Investigating Ecological Crises in Contemporary Science Fiction Narratives to Illuminate Pathways Towards a Better Future for All Living Beings, and Researching How to Raise Awareness of Coping with These Disasters Through Potential Socio-political and Pedagogical Applications," has been granted support under TÜBİTAK’s 2219 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Abroad Program.

As part of this significant project, Dr. Seher Özsert will continue her research at Bath Spa University in the UK for 12 months during the 2024-2025 academic year, as an invited scholar of the esteemed writer and eco-critic Prof. Samantha Walton. Dr. Özsert aims to make valuable contributions to both our country and our university through the research she will conduct at the Environmental Humanities Research Centre at Bath Spa University.
