As part of the "Science Café" events organized simultaneously across al 81 provinces by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Istanbul Nişantaşı University made a significant contribution with its focus on financial literacy. During the event, Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ökten and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Yozgat shared valuable insights into personal saving habits and investment awareness.

Emphasizing the importance of developing saving habits at an early age, Prof. Dr. Ökten stated, "Smal changes in our daily shopping habits can provide financial security in the future." Prof. Dr. Yozgat, on the other hand, drew attention to how a lack of financial awareness can lead to a debt trap, noting that "Investment becomes meaningful through accurate information and the right strategy."

The event addressed key topics such as personal financial management, conscious spending in the digital age, and the importance of long-term financial planning. Istanbul Nişantaşı University continues to pursue its mission of promoting financial awareness and economic literacy throughout society.
