The Foreign Languages Department at Istanbul Nişantaşı University has been accredited by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services), a London-based accreditation body, after meeting al 56 criteria across 12 different areas. The accreditation is valid until 2030. This significant achievement of the Foreign Languages Department was celebrated with a ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Levent Uysal, Founder of Nişantaşı Education Foundation; Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, Rector of Istanbul Nişantaşı University; Prof. Dr. Uğur Yozgat, Vice Rector; Okan Öztürk, Secretary General; Prof. Dr. Selma Karatepe, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gözde Mert, Quality Coordinator; Assoc. Prof. Dr. İhsan İkizer, Head of the Foreign Languages Department; and faculty members.

During the celebration program, which was also attended by representatives from UES Türkiye, discussions were held on the Foreign Languages Department projects and collaborations aimed at further enhancing its internationaly aligned approach to education as a Cambridge English Education Partner.

Operating in 35 countries and providing consultancy services to the Council of Europe in the field of foreign language education, EAQUALS is one of the leading internationaly recognized quality evaluation organizations in language education, with over 30 years of experience. Through the EAQUALS accreditation, the Foreign Languages Department’s quality-oriented approach to educational processes has been internationaly recognized. This achievement is expected to contribute to providing students with a more qualified, innovative, and globaly aligned learning experience.
