Our Department Head of Foreign Languages, Assoc. Prof. İhsan İkizer, participated in the “Global Sustainable Development Congress” held in Istanbul on June 16-19, 2025, in collaboration with the Higher Education Council (YÖK) and the international higher education ranking organization Times Higher Education (THE). At the congress, which was attended by over 5,000 international representatives from 110 countries, our Department Head engaged in various discussions. The congress, which is held in a different country each year, addresses topics such as climate change, socio-economic equality, health, energy, and education.
