The Foreign Languages Department of Istanbul Nisantasi University successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the international accreditation organization EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services) and was accredited until 2030. By meeting al 56 criteria across 12 different areas, the department officialy demonstrated that it meets international high-quality standards in foreign language education.

Operating in 35 countries and providing consultancy services to the Council of Europe in the field of foreign language teaching, EAQUALS is recognized as one of the leading international quality assurance organizations in language education with more than 30 years of experience.

As part of the evaluation process, the department was found to meet high standards in the following areas:

• teaching quality
• course programs
• course organization
• learning resources
• assessment and evaluation

In addition, the importance given to student and staff well-being, as well as the accurate preparation of al promotional materials, were also positively evaluated during the accreditation process.

Awarded the “Point of Excellence”

EAQUALS evaluators stated that the department demonstrated “Point of Excellence” level achievement in the category of “communication with teachers.”
