Future Healthcare Technologies Panel Held

Organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Vocational School of Health Services, the "Future Healthcare Technologies Panel" provided a productive platform for discussing the latest technological advancements in the healthcare sector.

The panel began with an opening speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadime Çınar, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Çınar emphasized the growing significance of technological advancements such as artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, and remote healthcare services in the medical field. She highlighted that the panel would serve as a guiding experience for participants aiming to specialize in the sector.

During the event, Expert Physiotherapist Edip Anıl Çopur addressed digital transformation and technological innovations in physiotherapy. Johnson & Johnson Account Manager Murat Kocaadam discussed innovations in the contact lens sector and the importance of conscious usage. REHA Health Education and Consulting Services Specialist Mehmet Zeki Çulcu elaborated on how CAD/CAM and 3D modeling technologies offer personalized solutions in the prosthetics-orthotics sector.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Keskin from Yıldız Technical University's Department of Chemistry provided insights into Turkey’s position in healthcare technologies, emphasizing the country's strategic goals and domestic pharmaceutical production. In the closing speech, Dr. Sevilay Uçar Yüzbaş, Deputy Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, stressed the importance of staying updated with advancements in healthcare technologies. She encouraged students to participate in such events to further their professional development.

With great interest from attendees, the panel served as a valuable platform for discussing innovations in healthcare technologies.
