As İstanbul Nişantaşı University, we are proud to announce another achievement by our students, who continue to shine with their innovative projects. Our mobile application project, SEFİNE, representing our university, has been awarded in the “Accessible and Connected Turkey 2053 Inter-University R&D Idea Competition” organized by the Transportation and Infrastructure Academy Center (UDHAM) under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

Among 115 projects submitted by 205 students from 62 universities, our award-winning SEFİNE project was developed in collaboration between the Maritime Club and the Scientific Projects Research and Development Club (BIPAG). Offering an innovative perspective on transportation and maritime fields, this mobile application received full marks from the jury for its proposed solutions.

This significant achievement once again highlights İstanbul Nişantaşı University’s strong culture of R&D and innovation, its emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, and the productive power of our student clubs. The project successfully reflected our students’ technical expertise as well as their focus on societal benefit.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to al our students who contributed to the project, the members of the Maritime Club and BIPAG Club, our academic advisors, the Student Dean’s Office, and the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports for their efforts.
